Next year, the newly renovated Mayo Clinic Square will open an Old Town Pour House at the corner of Seventh Street and Hennepin Avenue, in what is the former Gameworks corner. Bottleneck Management, a Chicago based beer-specializing restaurant group, has signed a lease for Old Town Pour House’s first Minneapolis location, and scheduled it’s opening for spring 2016.
This being the fourth Old Town Pour House location, the concept presents an acclaimed craft beer program with almost 100 choices, as well as an American fare menu crafted by corporate executive chef Paul Katz. The restaurant’s esteemed beer menu features local favorites, and keeps national and global imports in rotation.
After a complete internal and external renovation of Mayo Clinic Square, owner Provident Real Estate prioritized landing tenants for its corner spaces. The property found two tenants for the third and fourth floors, in a sports medicine center and a training facility for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx. The second floor holds office space for lease, and the ground floor has 45,000 available square feet ideally for restaurant tenants. The square now is a modern and cohesive centerpiece for business, entertainement, and sports.
